Everyone’s favorite blogging and website platform, WordPress, has been updated to version 2.6. This new version packs many cool new features and it is even a month ahead of its scheduled release! Congratulations to the Automattic team for their awesome turn around time between 2.5.1 and 2.6.

We upgraded our blog to the new version and it was a painless transition. According to WordPress founder, Matt Mullenweg, version 2.6 fixes approximately 194 bugs.

Think I am going to wait on the update
As much as I love WP 2.6, it is currently not compatible with our UBD Block Ad Plugin and UBD Moneymaker Theme. We are working to resolve these issues ASAP.
Yes unfortunately I realized that too late. I have a solution…I just activated the widgets in my sidebar and pasted my sponsors code in the “text” widget then added the others that I needed. Cannot show recent readers, but that is OK as long as it looks OK for now.
I will be a happy camper once the Ad Block is compatible! =-)

Great! Can’t wait for the update on the Block Ad plugin. You guys do great work and I love checking in to see what the blogging pros are up to.
